While I've been a part of the quilting community on Instagram for several years, this is the first year that I participated in the #igquiltfest hosted by Amy Ellis, @amyscreativeside . What fun it has been!

Here is the reel where I introduce myself. It appears that I deleted several of the photos/videos from my phone. A mistake I repeatedly make due to those "out of storage" popups I get on my phone often!

But, here are some of the photos/prompts that I did post on Instagram, and still have.

This is my family's "Quilt of Christmas Dreams". It is the first quilt I made, with a small group of women from our old church. Over the years use and beginner work caused the quilt to need some repair. About the time we purchased the longarm, I removed the binding and backing, then mended the quilt. After that I loaded it on the longarm and quilted it. I'm thrilled to have it all mended, with a new cozy backing and ready for Christmas Joy.

Another post from the #igquiltfest I'd like to share here, is how I store my WIPs (works in progress) This is a method I began using about a year ago and I no longer "lose" waiting projects.

Okay, this is a little sampling of my posts for the event. If you are interested, you can check out the hashtag on Instagram and see what many other people shared. Inspiration abounds!
